The Faculty of Arts receives a technical support visit from the University’s Quality Assurance Center to support the two bachelor’s programs in the Tourism Guidance Department.

Within the framework of the programmatic accreditation steps for the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, and under the patronage of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, and supervision by Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim, Vice President of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Rasha Khafaji, Director of the University’s Quality and Accreditation Center, Dr. Howaida Abdel Hamid, Director of the Faculty’s Performance Evaluation and Quality Assurance Unit, The Faculty received a team of professors reviewing the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, and they are Prof. Madiha Wassef, Professor of Medicine at Zagazig University (chair), Prof. Sami Mandour, Professor and head of the French Literature Department at the Faculty of Languages and Translation at Al-Azhar University (member), Prof. Abeer Amin Abdel Wahab, Professor at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Helwan University (member), in the presence of Prof. Sherine Sadiq, Head of the Tourism Guidance Department.

         
   
         

The visiting activities were attended by Asst. Prof. Nevin Tolba, the academic coordinator of the two programs, the standards coordinators, the faculty staff, the program’s teaching assistants, and a number of the faculty staff.

The activities of the visit included reviewing the files of the Bachelor’s programs (Tourism Guidance) and (Tourism Guidance, French Language Division) and the extent of application of program accreditation standards. The visit program, which began at 9:30 in the morning and lasted about 6 hours, included examining the self-study and attachments related to the program accreditation standards (11 Standard) at the two program levels.
