The Board of the Faculty of Nursing honors the President of the university and the Vice presidents

The Board of the Faculty of Nursing at Ain Shams University, in its session held on 25/6, honored Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, in appreciation of their distinguished efforts and their giving and achievements to the university and their continuous support for the Faculty until it obtained accreditation and quality assurance for the third time in a row, by giving them the shield of the faculty and Dr. Sahar Mousa, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of the Vice Deans of the Faculty, Prof. Dr.. Taya Abdel Latif, Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture at the university, heads of departments, heads of units, and the Secretary of the Faculty.

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini thanked Prof. Dr. Sahar Mousa, the vice-dean, and all the attendees for their interest in the university’s management, inviting and honoring them, which is a kind gesture from them, explaining the importance of the university’s support for the Faculty of Nursing, as nursing is the mainstay of medicine and a wall in the medical sector, asking them to do more work, achievements and giving And work on exchanging experiences with scientists in all countries for more benefit and knowledge.

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud talked about his permanent bias towards nursing due to the nature of his work, expressing his thanks to the Faculty administration for its exerted activity and its initiative always with new distinguished ideas and its application of all instructions and the best guide to medical care that was provided during the Corona pandemic.

Prof. Ayman Salih stressed the close and continuous relationship between medicine and nursing, as there is an academic and cultural professional thought between them, and the mission of the faculty members of the Faculty of Nursing should not be confined within the walls of the Faculty only, but also extends to hospitals.

Prof. Ghada Farouk added that the Faculty of Nursing is one of the Faculties that was born a giant, and it had a precedent in obtaining accreditation and quality for the third time in a row, and this is through its wise administration with a rational vision and participation in all the activities of the university, especially the activities of the environment sector.

Prof. Sahar Moussa thanked the attendees and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini for what he presented to the university and the College of Nursing during his term as president of the university, where he led the university successfully, and also worked to develop the nursing sector in the university hospitals, explaining that it is a good example and role model for the distinguished, conscious and enlightened leadership, as he did not hesitate to make Work and effort for the benefit of the university, reviewing some of his support and efforts in advancing the college and making a quantum leap in it, which was evident in improving its performance and working in accordance with quality and accreditation standards and obtaining accreditation and quality assurance for the third time, such as developing infrastructure and virtual laboratories, and providing it with a number of special programs that are required. In the labor market and a number of joint programs with other universities that grant accredited international degrees, and train students and graduates on the needs of the labor market.

As expressed by Prof. Sahar Musa expressed her pleasure in working with distinguished leaders such as Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, who gives unlimited support to the university, the education sector, and students, as he is responsible for the university's international classification file, and thanks to his hard work, the university has become at the highest ranks locally and internationally.

Dr. Sahar Moussa referred to the role of Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh in creating a special platform for postgraduate studies and setting different policies to deal with the latest shift in the sector.

Finally, Prof. Sahar said that since Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk assumed the position of Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the university has made a bouquet of roses and a clean green university.
