Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, honored, on Tuesday, March 21, the innovative students who won the first three places in the innovation competitions in the theoretical and practical faculties of Ain Shams University, and who will be qualified for the Ain Shams Competition innovates in its new version at the university level, it is an annual competition aimed at stimulating innovation and entrepreneurship at Ain Shams University through the competition of participants to come up with an innovative idea that solves an existing problem or adds value in various disciplines and goes through a wonderful experience for a broader and deeper understanding of the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The winners of the first running marathon organized by the ASU-iHub Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, which was held on the sidelines of the launch of the Ain Shams Innovates 2023 competition, were also honored. The students who volunteered in the ASU-iClub student activity and contributed to the success of the various activities of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center were also honored. In the presence of Dr. Islam Adly, who is in charge of student activities at the center, and officials of the innovation units in the university’s faculties.
In his speech with the students, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs explained the goal of building the innovation and entrepreneurship center at the university, the university presidency built it as an attractive building with a distinguished team to enable students to exchange information and ideas and help them put their ideas at the beginning of the path to achieve them, it also enables university students to seek help from experts in implementing their dreams and projects, all in a safe environment, which achieves a basic goal of the university’s goals represented in serving its students, developing their skills, benefiting from their ideas and applying them, in addition to contributing to advancing development in Egypt, referring to the effective role of ASU-iClub innovation clubs in colleges as branches of the main innovation center at the university.
Prof. Abdul Fattah Saoud stated that the ASU-iHub center ends unilateral and superficial thinking and encourages innovation and development, calling on students to always work as a team and not to cling to individual ideas.
