Based on Ain Shams University's keenness to achieve excellence and competition, and as a continuation of Ain Shams University's leadership in the field of awards through its pioneering and distinguished scholars in various fields, and to benefit from the practical experience of recipients of prestigious awards, the University Awards Office continued its meetings in cooperation with the electronic portal, and held its thirty-fourth meeting For recipients of prestigious local, regional and global awards, which was held at the University’s Networking and Information Technology Center on March 21, 2023, under the supervision of Dr. Islam Hegazy, Executive Director of the Center for Networking and Information Technology, Prof. Rasha Ismail, Director of the Electronic Portal, Prof. Alaa Abdel Halim Farag, General Supervisor of the Awards Office at the University.
Where the University Awards Office hosted Prof. Ali Abdel Aziz Ali, former Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, former Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, a full-time professor in the Department of Food Sciences at the Faculty, recipient of the Ain Shams University Appreciation Award for the year 2016 in the field of agricultural sciences, and winner of the best research award in the field of therapeutic nutrition. At the Biological Tests Conference in the United States of America in 2002, for his pioneering contributions during a long tender journey in various fields, which included scientific production with nearly 80 scientific papers and authoring nearly nine scientific books in the Arabic language, in addition to choosing his Excellency as a member of many international scientific societies and bodies International publishing, in addition to his contribution to publishing the first book in Arabic on the environmental management system and the editor-in-chief of several scientific journals, including the editor-in-chief of the Annals of Agricultural Sciences, which is one of the important journals in the field of specialization and is internationally classified. His Excellency participated in concluding many agreements and cooperation protocols, besides participating in many international conferences, His Excellency had a prominent and pioneering role in developing the graduate studies system at the university.

His Eminence praised the university's efforts in supporting scientific research and researchers, as well as its keenness on excellence and leadership in all fields. His Eminence also extended thanks and appreciation to the current university administration headed by Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, and all the distinguished deputies, for the efforts made in all aspects of the university sectors, and for honoring the distinguished in international publishing and all forms of support from the university in this field.
