Academic Robotics workshops in Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences Ain Shams University

In keeping with the rapid development of robotics technology and working on making the Egyptian youth a part of that development, whether by using or innovating, the academic robot  at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences at Ain Shams University announces that the start of registration in Robotics Workshops which for robots and smart devices for learning the latest circuits Electrical which used for making robots, motion sensors, distance, temperature, humidity, lighting, how to control a car using mobile, inventing, manufacturing and many other activities. Under the supervisory of  Prof.Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty and organize by  Dr.Tamer Ahmed  Mustafa, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development  and Dr. Mohammed Marai , Director of the Faculty's Consulting Center.

The workshop is two levels:

Level 1: Robot Sensors

This involves learning the programming of Arduino and how to deal with a wide range of sensors which make many projects that help you control many things through different programs.

Level 2: Robocar

This involves the Python+ programming , how to design an automatic car, using different sensors to control and steer it correctly in various tracks, avoid obstacles and control it through the mobile and participate in a competition specially for cars  which used in designing many kinds of sensors.

At the end of the course, the trainee will receive a certificate from the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences

Duration and dates:

The workshop consists of two levels , each level of 24 hours in 2 weeks

The workshop will begin immediately after the Eid on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday for 4 weeks starting on August 18, 2019

The price of registration:

The price of registration for the first level 1200 L.E. + the price of the first level tools 450 L.E.

The price of registration for both levels is 2000 L.E.

The price of tools for both levels is 750 L.E.

The course is from 14 years up to 20 years.
