The President of Ain Shams University receives the Polish ambassador and a delegation from the Polish University of Silesia to discuss ways of joint cooperation

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, received, at the Zaafaran Palace, the Polish ambassador, accompanied by a delegation of representatives of the Polish University of Silesia, headed by the university president there, to discuss ways of cooperation within the framework of a joint international program that brings together different disciplines.

The meeting was witnessed by Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Prof. Muhammad Rajaa, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, and Prof. Sherwit Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Expatriates Department, Prof. Muhammad Al-Jabali, Head of the Russian Department at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Dr. Karim Suleiman, a teacher at the Faculty of Science and delegated to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of joint cooperation in various disciplines, including engineering, science, languages, and tourism guidance.

His Excellency the Ambassador praised the prestigious position of Ain Shams University globally and its great scientific value, its distinguished contributions in the field of scientific research at the local and international levels, and its advanced levels of study, looking forward to supporting joint cooperation with the university, especially in the field of teaching the Polish language and student exchange.

For his part, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, emphasized that the university is keen to open horizons of international academic and research cooperation in various fields with prestigious international universities that occupy advanced positions in international rankings.

His Excellency also gave a quick presentation of the various faculties of the university, and shed light on the Egyptian public and private universities and study systems, and the current stage of developments in the field of access to education and its diversity through the establishment of many private universities emanating from public universities.

The President of the Polish University of Silesia gave a presentation about the university there and its various faculties, and the means of cooperation proposed between the two parties.

After the meeting, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, and Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, accompanied some members of the delegation on a tour of the Faculties of Arts and Al-Alsun.
