The comprehensive development convoy of Ain Shams University for the Red Sea Governorate succeeded, for two days, in serving the citizens of the cities of Halayeb, Shalatin, and Abu Ramad in the Red Sea Governorate, within the framework of the presidential initiative, "A Decent Life", and under the auspices of Major General. Staff Officer. Dr. Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, and prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and in cooperation with the southern military region, where the number of beneficiaries of the free medical service reached 1185 citizens who were examined in orthopedic, heart, chest, internal, endoscopy, urology, children, general surgery, dental, ophthalmology, Brain and nerves, ear, nose and throat, speech, seriousness, anesthesia and radiology at the headquarters of the health unit in Halayeb and Shalatin Central Hospital.
Medicines were distributed free of charge to 1,000 beneficiaries of the caravan pharmacy, in addition to sending 7 cases to receive treatment at Ain Shams University hospitals in Cairo for free, under the auspices of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals.
Under the general supervision of Prof. Hala Sweed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Tariq Youssef, Executive Director of University Hospitals at Ain Shams University, administrative supervision and the presence of Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The convoy included organizing a number of awareness campaigns for the lecturer and trainer, Prof. Tarek Abdel-Fattah on the concept of social phenomena, types of negative phenomena, types of positive phenomena, causes of the spread of negative phenomena, and methods of prevention and treatment.
This awareness campaign was held in Sadat Elementary School, while in the Shalatin Nursing School, an awareness campaign was organized on the art of dealing with patients.
It included clarification of communication methods and types, steps and basics of the communication process, the charm of intimacy and the art of communicating with patients, the importance of good dealing with patients, and tips to improve communication skills with patients.
It is noteworthy that this convoy, which was launched by Ain Shams University to serve the people of the cities of Halayeb, Shalateen, and Abu Ramad, is part of a series of comprehensive development convoys organized by the university for the various governorates of the Republic within the framework of the presidential initiative, dignified life and in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development and Egypt's Vision 2030.
