The Faculty of Education visited the Arab Exhibition for Productive Families, Bayt Al Arab

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Alaa El Din Abdel Halim, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and within the framework of the keenness of the community service and environmental development sector at Ain Shams University to develop the spirit of innovation, handicraft skills, family products, and small projects, and based on the directives of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, to pay attention to everything related to cultures and heritage, to learn about them, to preserve them, and to improve the skills related to this important field. The Faculty of Education at Ain Shams University, through the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, organized a field visit to the Arab Exhibition for Productive Families, "Bayt Al Arab", which is organized by the Ministry of Social Solidarity in cooperation with the League of Arab States under the auspices of the President of the Republic at Al-Qobba Palace. Its activities began on Thursday, January 5, and ends today. Wednesday, January 11, 2023. The number of productive families participating in the exhibition is about 150 productive families distributed as follows: 70 Egyptian families, and 80 families from Arab countries. A number of faculty staff of the faculty participated in the visit, represented by Dr. Amal Taye, Dr. Fatima Bakr, and a team of faculty staff at the faculty, and everyone expressed their happiness with the visit and the diverse cultures present in the exhibition, and they also emphasized the extent of the benefit that was achieved for them by opening the horizons of small and medium projects in front of them and transferring those experiences to their students through various activities to develop their creative and innovative talents and see all that is new in the field of productive families and small industries from all countries participating in the exhibition.

         
   
         

The visit included many pavilions and many meaningful interviews took place with representatives of the various initiatives of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, including the awareness initiative, the affection initiative, and other important initiatives at the exhibition. And the importance of the exhibition lies in supporting and preserving the Arab heritage from extinction, introducing current generations to it, and providing an opportunity for the local population and handicraft makers to display their products and heritage and highlight them as environmentally friendly products, within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Environment to integrate them into the management and development of nature reserves by encouraging the preservation of their heritage and products environmentally friendly and inspired by the local and Arab heritage.

At the end of the visit, everyone thanked the wonderful efforts made in this important exhibition and its impact on the students of the college and the university to be able to continue to support all activities aimed at economic empowerment and investment of environmental components, small projects and environmentally friendly products, which in turn contribute to community service and environmental development, which achieve the vision and mission of the faculty and university.
