A cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Law and the National Bank of Kuwait, NBK Egypt

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, on behalf of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, and Mr. Yasser El-Tayeb, Managing Director and Executive Director of the National Bank of Kuwait, signed a joint cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University and the National Bank of Kuwait, Regarding the development of the technological infrastructure for some lecture halls at the Faculty of Law, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Shafei, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Yassin Tharwat El-Shazly, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dehom, Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs and Environment Development, and Prof. Dr. Khaled Hamdi, Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Law and Director of the French Division of the Faculty, and Dr. Khaled Sari Siam, a faculty member of the Department of Criminal Law at the Faculty.

The signing of the protocol on the part of the bank was also attended by: Mr. Karim Kamal - Head of the Support and Sustainability Sector, Mrs. Rania Afifi - Director of Strategies, Planning, Development, Investments, and Social Responsibility, Mr. Hani Ibrahim - Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Mrs. Nouran Ali - Director of Corporate Governance and Secretary of the Social Responsibility Committee.

In his speech during the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi conveyed to the bank delegation the greetings and thanks of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini for their efforts in community service and stressed that the faculty seeks to develop the infrastructure and provide it with modern means and technologies in the field of teaching and learning - in addition to its endeavor to develop scientific content And to provide its students and graduates with the scientific and practical skills they need - through international and local partnerships, which is in line with the vision of the Ain Shams University administration led by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, of the need to implement institutional partnerships with a focus on local partnerships with major governmental bodies and institutions and civil society institutions, pointing out that the university works out of the complete conviction that academic study alone does not suffice, but rather an openness to the local and international community must be made, which has become an indispensable necessity.

On his part, Mr. Yasser Al-Tayeb expressed his happiness at signing this protocol, indicating that the bank performs its societal role in a number of various axes, but the scientific aspect always occupies a large space in the societal role of the bank, especially if the cooperation is with an ancient faculty such as the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University.
