The activities of the training camp for male and female scouting of Ain Shams University at Port Said International Camp for Scouts and Guides

The activities of the training camp for male and female scouting of Ain Shams University continue at Port Said International Camp for Scouts and Girl Guides, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, where the activities of the second and third days of the camp began with the sports queue.

A public service project was implemented by cleaning the beaches with the aim of contributing to the implementation of the recommendations of the Climate Conference (protecting beaches) from solid waste and plastic, followed by a waste recycling workshop to benefit from it in order to achieve the sustainable development goals, Egypt’s Vision 2030 (consumption and production goal), and then this was followed by the implementation of a research and study trip To get acquainted with the archaeological and tourist attractions of the governorate, football, and volleyball matches were also held for men and women.

In conclusion of the daily program, a party is held in which all students participate.

Camp activities are held under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs for student activities, Prof. Dr. Hamdi Musa, Advisor to the Scouting Committee, Mrs. Reham Muhammad Al-Atifi, who is in charge of the university’s assistant secretary for education and student affairs, Mr. Mohamed Sharkawy, Acting Director General of Youth Welfare, and Mrs. Asmaa Khater, Director of Scouting Management at the University.
