Mohamed Al-Atribi, Chairman of Banque Misr, received Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, Mahmoud Al-Matini, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of the University Hospitals and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Director General of the University Hospitals, in the framework of the close relations between Ain Shams University as one of the oldest educational institutions in Egypt and the Bank of Egypt, the oldest national economic entity.
Where Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat gave the university's shield to Mr. Mohammed Al-Atribi in recognition of his efforts and the role of the Banque Misr in the field of community service. In addition, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Matini gave him shield of the Faculty and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh gave him the shield university hospitals.
During the meeting, which was attended by Dr. Ali Al-Saidi, former Minister of Electricity, Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat praised the deep ties and strong relations between the two sides and the multiplicity of aspects of cooperation in a number of areas and activities that benefit the community, including the field of health service and support educational missions.
He added that Ain Shams University is proud to have the largest branch of Banque Misr at the level of Egyptian universities.
Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini said that Ain Shams University hospitals have received unprecedented donations to improve the level of health care and raise the efficiency of hospitals at all levels, whether in terms of evidence or medical devices, or support training programs to raise the efficiency of the human body of doctors or nurses and others.
For his part, Mr. Mohammed Al-Atribi stressed that the activities of Banque Misr are a social service that is an extension of the history of this ancient economic entity and activating the national role of Banque Misr. He pointed out the importance of Banque Misr with other banks and major economic entities to stand side by side with the State to achieve the vision of Egypt 2030 and supporting various sectors, foremost of which is education and health.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat pointed that the University of Ain Shams began to develop a plan for the restoration of Talaat Pasha Harb Palace, which includes the Faculty of Specific Education, in order to preserve the historical value of the palace and the revival of this important national heritage, In the Palace and the Arts Hall, with the aim of restoring this architectural masterpiece to remain before successive generations.
He also announced the launch of the Ain Shams University pavilion at the Higher Education Exhibition, under the theme "Education is your responsibility and Expenses are our responsibility", which is the first of its kind in the partnership between Ain Shams University and Banque Misr to activate parents' access to loans for educational support.
After the ceremony, Mr. Mohammed Al-Atribi accompanied President of Ain Shams University and his delegation and took a tour of the Talaat Pasha Harb Museum at the central headquarters of the Bank. The history of the Bank was also reviewed and how the Bank of Egypt has succeeded in advancing the national economy since the 1920s until today.
