Methodological approaches to understanding the Quranic texts... A symposium at the Faculty of Education

Within the framework of scientific exchange and rapprochement between the corresponding departments of the Arabic language at Ain Shams University, and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting as Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashed, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Safaa Shehata, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Alaa El Din Abdel Halim, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abd El-Salam Abu Khuzaym, Professor of Sharia and Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, in a symposium entitled (Systematic Approaches to Understanding Quranic Texts).

In the presence of Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Din Abdel-Halim, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, prof. Dr. Hassan Abdel Maksoud, Head of the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies.

The symposium included a presentation of the most important methodological approaches to understanding the wise Qur’anic text in order to achieve a proper understanding of the intent of the noble Sharia and its wise intent. The meeting was presented and moderated by Dr. Muhammad Al-Taher Ahmed Mahmoud, responsible for the cultural activity in the Department of Arabic Language and Assistant Professor of Linguistic Sciences in the department.
