The Dean of the Faculty of Girls attends the activities of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (I Hub) organized events, competitions, and games to welcome first-year students from the Faculty of Girls. The events began in the pergola, then the symposium began in the conference hall, which aims to introduce the students from the first year to the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and to provide them with the opportunity to participate in it since the first year, for any student from any university at the level of the Republic from any specialization or field.

         
   
         

This comes under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, and Prof. Dr. Mai Helmy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, with the coordination and supervision of Dr. Islam Adly, Instructor in the Department of Entomology and Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University, Dr. Aya Radi, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Office at the Faculty.

The seminar was attended by Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, who praised the role of the center in new innovations, and that it ends unilateral and superficial thought and encourages innovation and development, calling on students to work as a team and not cling to individual ideas.

     
 
     

Prof. Dr. Amira honored the female students participating in the center by winning advanced positions in the (i-challenge) competition, the student Shaima Sayed, a fourth-level student, in the Physics and Chemistry program, and her team designed an application designed to help children with Down syndrome and won first place in the software track for people with special needs, and the student, Shorouq Lotfi, the student at the level. The second is the Physics Program. She designed a vertical wind turbine to reduce the use of electricity and rely on clean energy, and she reached the semi-finals of the Ain Shams Innovates competition.

At the end of the symposium, they praised the role of Banque Misr in supporting and assisting new projects and innovations, and the Dean of the Faculty honored them for their constant effort.
