Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, honored the first students in the Applied Biotechnology Program (Biotechnology) at the Faculty of Science, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ragaa Al-Sutuhi, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Eman Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Education and Student Affairs.
During the honoring, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud explained that graduates of the Faculty of Science always have a broad culture and flexibility in thinking, pointing out that the real world is characterized by these qualities, which makes it qualified to accomplish many of the tasks entrusted to it.
Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud many success stories for graduates of the Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University, stressing that the university pays great attention to the Faculty of Science, which is the cradle of basic sciences that are the basis for all other sciences, explaining that encouraging these students is a real necessity for the intersection of different sciences, which witnessed a boom recently.
He urged the students to be proud of their Faculties and to know their history, which is full of scientific merits that the Faculty abounds in, such as Prof. Dr. Farouk El-Baz, Prof. Dr. Fathi Saud and Prof. Dr. Abdel Hafez Helmy, who founded rare scientific schools at that time.
Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud advised the students to always be keen to serve their communities and belong to their country, Egypt, which provided them with various educational services, and demanded that part of that known be returned to their communities and their university, as they are Egypt's hope in the future.
At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud presented certificates of appreciation and grants to the top students of the study program, namely the student Ayat Abdel-Hadi Ali Abdel-Hadi, the student Eric Reda Albert Michel Abboud.
It is worth mentioning that the Applied Biotechnology Program is one of the most important programs at the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, which succeeded during the 6 years of the program's lifespan to have a reputation and a name at the level of Egypt, which made it a magnet for students.
