Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, and Prof. Dr. Mai Helmy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the organization of the Youth Welfare Department, and within the framework of the annual reception festival On the third day of the new university, the Education and Student Affairs Sector organized a symposium entitled "Climate Changes and the Carbon Footprint" and the state's efforts to transform into a green university.
The seminar was presented by Prof. Dr. Hager Nawar, a lecturer of environmental physics and director of the e-learning unit, Department of Basic Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research, Ain Shams University.
This coincides with the preparations of the Presidency of the Arab Republic of Egypt for the Climate Summit, so the Education and Student Affairs Sector organized a festival to welcome students for the academic year with a new idea to be environmentally friendly.
The seminar was attended by a group of professors and the students expressed their happiness.
