In continuation of Ain Shams University's celebration of the October victory anniversary…Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Students inaugurates an exhibition of plastic arts

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University of Education and Student Affairs, inaugurated the Fine Arts Exhibition, which was organized by the Education and Student Affairs Sector within a series of events organized by the university and the sector in commemoration of the 49th anniversary of the glorious October victories.‎

In the presence of the Colonel, Director of the Military Education Department at the university and Mrs. Reham Otaify, Acting Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hind Al-Hilali, Director of the Anti-Violence Against Women Unit, and Mr. Mohamed Al-Sharqawi, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, Mr. Mustafa Issa, Director of the Technical Activity Department, and Mr. Yasser Abdel Razek, Head of the Fine Arts Department at the Youth Center.‎

The three-day exhibition included more than 40 paintings and artworks, created by students from various faculties of the university.

During his tour Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud listened to the students’ explanations about the significance of their paintings and the idea behind each work, praising the university students’ awareness of the heroism offered by the armed forces men who shed their blood on the homeland. ‎

He also expressed his pride in the artistic mix that the students presented in their works, and he combined the glories and victories of the past, the achievements of the present, and the outlook for the future of the new republic.

He decided to give the students financial rewards and gift them a trip to the new administrative capital to get acquainted with the achievements of the new republic, in which the students represent the youth of Egypt, he directed the students to the necessity of including a description on each plate to explain the idea of ​​the artwork.

During an interview, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, with the students, told them some of the stories of victory and the scenes of the war, and asked them to read history and learn the facts of the war.

In his interview with the Director of the Military Education Department at the university, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud stressed that Ain Shams University is keen to unload the energies of young people in all that is useful and creative, which is evident through the expansion of the base of student activities and the participation of students from various faculties in it, a philosophy adopted and keen to implement the education sector and students for years. ‎

For his part, the Director of the Military Education Department at the university praised the support provided by Ain Shams University to its students and real opportunities and various activities that serve as a wall that protects them from any extremist or false ideas and dedicates their energies to serving the country and raising the values ​​of loyalty and belonging to them.

The Education and Student Affairs Sector continues its activities throughout the month of October to commemorate the great victory through many cultural, artistic and awareness events.
