In his speech, Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat stressed the university's keenness to insure its assets and university facilities, especially in light of its huge construction potential and the huge number of its students. The number of students reaches 200,000 in the bachelor, 35,000 in postgraduate studies and 30,000 in electronic education. This is in addition to the large number of faculty members, administrators and employees, which necessitated that the university move towards applying the insurance feature.
Mr. Samir Abdul Nasser pointed out that Ain Shams University is one of the first public universities that have turned towards the idea of insurance based on the University's policy of preserving its facilities. He pointed out that the insurance process will be carried out in successive stages, starting with insurance on university cities and buildings for nutrition, And educational buildings and laboratories in various faculties and institutes, and ends with insurance on administrative buildings.
Mr. Yasser Ahmed Al Alam highly praised the keenness of the University to insure its facilities. Pointing out that the role of the company is to prepare an insurance file integrated technical and financial, and analysis of the risks expected, and then deal with the insurance offers provided by different companies to choose the best, and promised to provide high quality insurance service commensurate with the heritage and value of Ain Shams University.
