Venezuelan Ambassador is at the Faculty of Al-Alsun

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, and in light of Ain Shams University’s keenness to exchange cultures with other countries in order to provide the university’s students with new cultures, the Faculty of Al-Alsun Ain Shams University received Ambassador Wilmer Barrientos, the Venezuelan ambassador in Cairo, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University and the State of Venezuela in the cultural field and ways of exchanging students and professors between Ain Shams University and the State of Venezuela.

His Excellency also participated in a symposium during which a detailed description in words and pictures of the State of Venezuela was presented, while addressing the most important cultural elements spread among its citizens, the history of the country and its most important tourist and cultural places.

The seminar also dealt with the most important arts spread in Venezuela, and His Excellency the Ambassador opened the door for discussion to the students.

It also included a cultural competition, where the winners received a valuable set of books on the history and culture of Venezuela.
