A seminar entitled How to choose a life partner in the light of the “Mawda” program at the Faculty of Girls

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Women’s College at the university, and Prof. Dr. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, organized a symposium on “How to choose a life partner” in cooperation with the Social Solidarity Unit at the university, in the light of the Mawada program.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Gehan Ragab, Advisor to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, stresses the importance of the unit and its effective, fruitful, educational and service role for students at the university.

Mrs. Reham Abdel Rahman, Director of the Social Solidarity Unit at the university, explained the main themes through which the Ministry provides various services, which are awareness-raising activities, human-building, economic empowerment and social protection, inspection visits and volunteering.

The seminar was presented by Dr. Randa Fares, director of Mawada program at the Ministry of Social Solidarity, which included an introduction to Mawada program, the importance of the courtship period to determine the contract on which marriage is based, the importance of marriage, how to choose a life partner, and factors for the success of married life.

   
   

The seminar included the interactive participation of the students and presentation of models and workshops from the life reality of some married couples.

Mr. Abdo Mansour, the official of Nasser Social Bank in the Solidarity Unit at the university, attended the seminar as well as a number of male and female volunteers in the unit.

The Crisis and Emergency Unit headed by Dr. Fatima Al-Zahra Anwar directed to take all precautionary measures during the seminar.
