The Faculty of Sciences at Ain Shams University organizes an introductory meeting for new students

The Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, organized an introductory meeting for the new students, where Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ragaa Al-Sutuhi, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his pride and happiness in his affiliation with the Faculty of Science and the joining of a new batch of his students to the Faculty. This came in the presence of Prof. Dr. Eman Abdel Aziz, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Amani Suleiman, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Montaser, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, and Heads of Departments.

During his welcoming speech, he pointed out that the Faculty of Science is the factory of scientists in which the pioneers of science in Egypt and the Arab world graduated, including Dr. Mostafa El-Sayed, who discovered the use of nano-gold and nano-silver in the treatment of cancerous tumors, and the great scientist Dr. Farouk El-Baz, the pioneer of geology and other pioneers of science around the world. And adding that Ain Shams University continues to lead and advance at the level of Egyptian universities, by obtaining a five-star rating in the QS classification as the first Egyptian university to obtain this evaluation, which is reflected in the level of evaluation of its graduates.

He pointed out that a large number of faculty members at the faculty and university have received scientific awards globally and locally, which raises the scientific level of the student, especially in light of the state's great interest in recent times in science and scientific research, and the interest of the whole world in it, especially after the emergence of the Corona pandemic.

He also referred to the scientific and academic diversity provided by the faculty through a number of new accredited study programs that suit the requirements of the local and global labor market.

He also stressed the achievement of a successful circle of communication between students, faculty staff and the faculty administration as one family, with the aim of improving the level of students and providing them with all support.

Then the professors, heads of the ten departments in the faculty, introduced their departments and the method of teaching in them, and provided brief overviews of each department, the approved programs offered by the department, and the conditions for joining it
