Training workshop for female students at the Faculty of Arts

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini ,Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Prof. Dr. Rasha Al-Didi, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development ,the Anti-Violence and Harassment Unit headed by Prof. Dr. Hind Al-Hilali, Director of the Unit, organizes a training workshop (WINDO) for students of the Faculty of Arts as one of the activities of the unit in March every year on the occasion of the Women's Month, and the WINDO is self-defense training for girls and women against violence and harassment through a series of exercises Mental to increase self-confidence and ability to confront, increase awareness and awareness of personal boundaries, in addition to any set of physical exercises to get out of danger situations, and the workshop ends with training each girl to break a tree as a success of what was trained on and symbolic of overcoming all difficulties with management and training.

The training is provided by Mrs. Amani Abdel-Aal, a clinical psychologist at the unit and a consultant for training window trainers certified by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the German Cooperation Organization in Egypt.

The workshop is repeated periodically and female students of Ain Shams University print through the headquarters of the Anti-Harassment Unit at the university.
