Vice President of Ain Shams University receives the Blended Learning Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities

Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, received the Blended Learning Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities, which included Prof. Rami Iskandar, Director of the National E-Learning Center, and Dr. Nancy El-Demerdash, Deputy Director of the Center, where the development of the university's technological infrastructure was reviewed, which has become an imperative. To develop the e-learning system and this is what Professor Abdel-Fattah Saud emphasized in his speech during the meeting.

His Excellency highlighted the importance of blended learning for individuals who wish to complete education as well as who wish to change their field of work and jobs, stressing that blended learning is not a learning inferior to formal learning.

         
   
         

Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saud referred to the renovations that occurred on the university campus, the university campus, and the development of the football stadium, terraces and the sports hall in a short period.

The university also hosted the Central Student Coordination Office for the first time, and he expressed his happiness over the great boom that occurred in the university cities and its annexes.

Prof. Dr. Hanan Al-Saeed, Director of the Integrated Learning Center, highlighted the cooperation between the center and the Facultys and the Department of Education Development at the university, confirming that the university has cadres to develop and produce educational courses in an electronic form that keeps pace with different learning styles.

It also reviewed the development work and equipment that took place in the integrated learning system in the Facultys participating in the system.

Prof. Dr. Mona Abdel Aal, Executive Director of the Education Development Department, the process of developing the e-learning management system and question banks at the university and what this requires of updating the university’s technological infrastructure and linking it to the Ain Shams University smart platform, in addition to the plans and goals set to reach the best results in blended learning. The latest developments were reviewed in Production of integrated learning courses and programs in the Faculties of Agriculture and Business.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Ahmed Galal Al-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Prof. Hisham Al Hariri, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Shaheen, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business for Education and Student Affairs, blended learning coordinators and directors of e-learning units in Faculty.
