The President of Ain Shams University chairs the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Silk Road Studies and Research Center

The President of Ain Shams University chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Center for Studies and Research of the Silk Road, where the Council discussed frameworks for scientific and research cooperation and joint economic studies between Ain Shams University and the Chinese side, as well as ways to strengthen economic and development partnership between Ain Shams University and the Faculty of Strategic and Development Studies of the Chinese People's University and projects Joint cooperation between the Faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy and Agriculture and the Innovation Center.

The council also discussed mechanisms for activating the joint international publishing of scientific research in light of the Egyptian state's need for such research.

This came in the presence and membership of each of Prof. Dr. Hussein Essa, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Council's Plan and Budget Committee, and Major General Staff of war/ Hamdi Badeen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Fish Resources Company, Ahmed Zaki Badr, the former President of Ain Shams University, Ambassador Osama Al-Magdoub, the former Ambassador of Egypt to China, and the Deans of Faculties (Prof. Dr. Nagy Abdel-Momen, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, and Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadry The Dean of the Faculty of Business and Prof. Dr. Diaa Khalil, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering), and Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel Sayed, Professor of Chinese Language at Faculty of Al-Alsun and Rapporteur of the Center for Silk Road Studies and Research.

It is noteworthy that the Silk Road Studies and Research Center at Ain Shams University is the second center in the world and the first in Africa, the Middle East and the Arab world.

Egypt is the only country among the 64 Belt and Road countries that have a sea port on the road beside the land port.
