Prospective cooperation between Ain Shams University and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA JAICA)

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University met with the delegation of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JAICA). The meeting was attended by Mr. Yoshifumi Omura, JICA Egypt's Principal Representative, Mr. Eki Hiro Lusaki, Deputy Chief Representative of the JICA Cairo Office, and Ms. Dina Karam, Program Coordinator. Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Sengab Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

During the meeting, both sides expressed their keenness to complete the process of cooperation between the two countries, especially in light of the ongoing prosperity of bilateral relations in many fields, especially education.

The two sides discussed a number of aspects of cooperation expected in the field of training of human cadres as well as improving health care with regard to university hospitals and other aspects of partnership between the two sides.
