For the third year in a row Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud offers a personal scholarship to the top students in the (Applied Biotechnology) program at the Faculty of Science

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, honored the top students in the Applied Biotechnology (Biotechnology) program at the Faculty of Science, based on his constant keenness to support the educational process and the top students and geniuses from Ain Shams University, in the presence of Prof. Muhammad Rajaa Al-Satohi, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Prof. Iman Muhammad Abdel Azim, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Hanan Al-Saeed, Director of the Blended Education Center, Prof. Mona Abdel-Al Al-Zahri, Executive Director of the University’s Education Development Department, Mr. Ibrahim El-Deeb, producer of the “Egypt Can” programme.

         
   
         

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud presented certificates of appreciation and grants to the top students in the academic program, namely the student Hala Hisham Mahmoud Ahmed Ali in the first level, grade A, the student / Ayat Abdel Hadi Ali Abdul Hadi in the second level, grade A, and the student / Suhaila Mahmoud Anwar Ahmed in the fourth level, grade A

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, confirmed his keenness to support students academically and scientifically, in addition to the various activities provided by the university to hone students’ skills and prepare them strongly for the labor market later.

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, during his conversation with his top students, stressed the need to work hard and diligently to ensure the continuation of their academic excellence, pointing out that scientific research, innovation, and creativity are the path to success, motivating them with the momentum of scholars who graduated from the Faculty of Science, such as Prof. Farouk El-Baz and Prof. Mustafa Al-Sayed and Prof. Muhammad Fathi Saud and many other scientific figures who have enriched scientific research, appreciating the state’s efforts in creating the appropriate climate for scientific research and researchers in various fields in light of Egypt’s 2030 vision.

         
   
         

He urged the students to invest their knowledge in their homeland and not follow invitations to travel abroad to enrich their dear homeland with their knowledge.

Prof. Muhammad Raja Al-Satohi, Dean of the Faculty of Science, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, who is offering this scholarship as a personal scholarship in his name as a professor of surgery and not as the Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, indicating that such honoring for students increases their self-confidence and their affiliation with the university. He stressed that the university administration has provided all capabilities to support students in various research activities and that he is extremely proud of this excellence, which is the result of government education in Egypt.

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud listened to the students’ experiences in the biotechnology program, their success stories, the secret of their love for the department and the faculty, and the valuable information they gained through their studies. During the conversation, he touched on the extent of their pride in their university and the tangible development in all departments and programs that Ain Shams University has developed.

The students expressed their great happiness with the honor and scholarships provided by Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, who stressed that it represents a strong push forward for them that makes them more determined to excel and strive. They also expressed their pride in belonging to a prestigious faculty and a most prestigious university in which brilliant scholars who have enriched scientific research locally and internationally have graduated.

It is worth noting that this scholarship is personal, provided by Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, for the third year in a row, to the top students in the Faculty of Science, and that the Applied Biotechnology program is one of the most important programs in the Faculty of Science, at Ain Shams University, which began in 2017 and has graduated three batches so far.
