Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, confirms, during his inspection of the committees of the Faculty of Science that the faculty witnesses a remarkable development in developing the examination environment

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, inspected the examination committees at the Faculty of Science to check on the progress of the examinations and the implementation of all legal and precautionary measures while providing the appropriate atmosphere for the students’ comfort. Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud held a parental dialogue with the students to make sure the exams went smoothly.

         
   
         

His Excellency was accompanied during the tour by Prof. Muhammad Ragaa Al-Satohi, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Eman Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Amani Suleiman, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

         
   
         

The Faculty of Science is witnessing a tangible development in the work environment. During the second term, it has equipped stands that have been developed and provided with adaptations, smart display screens and modern lighting, such as the Hegazy and Helal auditorium, as well as a number of halls and laboratories to conduct exams, to be a precedent that is the first of its kind in canceling the exam in the roads and corridors and exploiting all capabilities of the faculty to create a suitable exam environment for students.

         
   
         

And in order to reduce the carbon footprint and reduce the use of printed papers and replace them with electronic systems, a number of qualified members of the administrative staff have been allocated and provided with computers connected to the UMS system to facilitate the student's access to his examination committee and knowing his seat number, in addition to ensuring that each student is present in his correct committee according to numbers The corresponding sitting is on the electronic system, and the control works are followed up daily, as the grades are monitored electronically for the student’s semester work, as well as the oral exams, then each professor enters the results of the subject he teaches on the electronic system, so that the final result appears electronically

         
   
         

It is worth noting that for the first time, the oral exams and final exams for the same subject will be conducted on one day, in order to facilitate the students and according to their opinions, so that the student performs the exam of the material orally and theoretically on the same day to be better able to familiarize himself with the scientific material and in full readiness to pass the exams.

The marathon of the second semester exams at the Faculty of Science is attended by 5 thousand students who take the exams in two periods of time to ensure that the committees do not overcrowd, and the Marathon of the Faculty of Science exams continues with various teams until next June 13.
