Spanish Cultural Counselor visits the Faculty of Al-Alsun

Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, received Mr. Candido Creis Estrada, Cultural Counselor at the Spanish Embassy in Cairo, in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Al-Saghir, Chairman of the Spanish Language Department at the Faculty, Prof. Youmna Azmy, Director of the International Cooperation Office at the Faculty, Prof. Maryam Makki.

During the meeting, the Spanish Cultural Counselor affirmed his great admiration for the professional level of the students of the Spanish Language Department at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, at Ain Shams University, which is one of the most prominent departments that teach Spanish at the level of Egyptian universities. He also announced the recruitment of a Spanish teacher for the department for a period of 3 years at the expense of the embassy.

For her part, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, expressed her thanks and appreciation for the fruitful cooperation with the Spanish Embassy in Cairo.

The Spanish Cultural Counselor also discussed with the students the works of the Spanish writer Carme Riera, then he handed over the prizes to the winners of the literary competition of the Spanish Embassy, which was held at the Faculty of Al-Alsun under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, on the story "I will avenge your death" by the Spanish writer Carme Riera.
