Based on Ain Shams University's keenness to achieve excellence and competition, and as a continuation of Ain Shams University's leadership in the field of awards through its pioneering and distinguished scholars in various fields, and to benefit from the practical experience of recipients of prestigious awards, the University Awards Office continued its meetings and held its thirty-sixth meeting on Monday, April 3 2023, at the headquarters of the Faculty of Education at the university with Prof. Talaat Mansour, full-time professor at the Department of Mental Health at the Faculty of Education at the university, a pioneer of mental health in Egypt and the Arab world, founder of the Center for Psychological Counseling at the Faculty of Education at the university, a member of the Supreme Council for Culture, a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a pioneer of mental health and psychological and human development, He is considered one of the pioneers of psychological intervention for psychological development, and he has received scientific estimates and membership in the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences, former Secretary-General of the Egyptian Society for Psychological Studies, and former rapporteur of the jury for the University Appreciation Awards in the field of social sciences.
The meeting aimed to benefit from the experiences of Prof. Talaat Mansour in the field of psychological counseling in the field of supporting and motivating young researchers to obtain awards.
His Excellency directed the young researchers to the necessity of openness with foreign expertise in the field of science and knowledge and keeping pace with the achievements of the age, and the need for full mastery of many languages, especially the English language, to facilitate means of communication.
His sovereignty also emphasized applied research, entrepreneurship, and projects, and interest in national issues and national requirements and starting from them, with the need to focus and pay attention to Egyptian culture and identity and to develop a spirit of pride, pride, and appreciation for the national visions of young researchers, which leads to obtaining appreciation and qualification for prestigious awards.
As Prof. Talaat Mansour pointed out the leading role of Ain Shams University headed by His Excellency Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini and the efforts of the distinguished vice-presidents of the university, and the pioneering role of Ain Shams University among universities in Egypt and the Arab world, achieving competition at the global level and emphasizing the requirements of sustainability and leadership.
His Excellency concluded his speech with a message he addressed to young researchers from the university, keen on communication and openness to the world and its progress, and working to achieve the Egyptian dream for youth and community issues, with the necessity of preserving the Egyptian identity and working on the elevation and leadership of our ancient university.
