Ways of protecting personal devices, the first seminars of the cultural season of the Union Students of the Faculty of Archeology

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawy, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, the Faculty Students Union began the first activities of the cultural season with a lecture on ways of protecting the personal devices of Major General Raafat El Sharkawy, former Assistant Minister of Interior, and member of the faculty staff of the Police Academy, during which he reviewed the most famous cases of electronic extortion and some related incidents, analyzing their causes and means of prevention. His Excellency also warned the students against using social networking sites without awareness and transferring and sharing some information through the pages without understanding the significance of this. The conversation also touched on the types of crimes and their penalties in Egyptian law.

The meeting concluded with honoring Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawy, to Major General Raafat El-Sharkawy, who presented him with a certificate of appreciation from the faculty.
