A symposium entitled Research Indicators at the Faculty of Engineering

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Amr Shaat, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, the Conference Committee of the Faculty of Engineering organized a symposium entitled "Research Indicators".

During the seminar, Prof. Dr. Amr Shaat, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, discussed the various indicators used globally to classify scientific research and journals as well as researchers and assessed the impact of these indicators on various academic fields, explaining the sequence of their historical appearance as well as their importance in the classification of universities, and explained their importance to scientific research and their positive impact on the local and international scientific community.

The symposium was attended by a group of professors of the faculty, the assistant staff, postgraduate students, and undergraduate students Prof. Dr. Amr Abdel Rahman.
