Nutrition and osteoporosis… The first seminar of the cultural season of the Faculty of Pharmacy in the new academic year

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rola Milad Labib, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the Faculty organized the cultural season to enrich the Faculty's cultural activity and raise awareness of proper nutrition. Its first symposium was entitled "Nutrition and Osteoporosis", delivered by Dr. Wafaa Saeed, Clinical Nutritionist, and Athlete Nutrition Specialist.

During this, she dealt with the proper nutritional habits to be followed to avoid osteoporosis diseases, including reducing caffeine consumption, avoiding processed foods, adopting healthy habits, and exercising.

This was attended by the Faculty staff, the teaching assistant, and the administrative staff of the Faculty.
