Next Sunday... a campaign for free early detection of osteoporosis at the Faculty of Law

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Faculty of Law, is organizing an awareness campaign on osteoporosis under the title "Don't be broke & Don't refract", on Sunday, July 31, from ten in the morning until one in the afternoon, at the Faculty of Law, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Naglaa Ali, Professor of Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Rheumatology, Faculty of Medicine at the university.

The campaign was coordinated by Prof. Dr. Gehan Rajab, Advisor to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Yassin El-Shazly, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Community Service and Environmental Development, under the supervision of Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Prof. Dr. Gehan Ragab explained that the campaign provides free early detection of osteoporosis by specialized rheumatology professors from the College of Medicine, as well as free osteoporosis x-rays for women over 50 years of age, men over 60, and diabetics over 50 years of age, in addition to any Whoever suffered a fracture as a result of a simple fall or a knock during the past 3 months, especially if he exceeded the age of fifty, to avoid fractures resulting from osteoporosis.

She added that whoever is found to have osteoporosis, specialized professors will determine the medical treatment program for him, guide him to the appropriate diet and follow up his disease condition for free in the osteoporosis clinic in the Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Department at Demerdash Hospital.
