Ain Shams University Board honors the faculty staff who received the University's Incentive and Appreciation Award

The Board of Ain Shams University honored, in its session held today, Thursday, at the Center for Networks and Information Technology, headed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former minister and former university president, and Mr. Mohamed El-Etreby, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banque Misr, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the deans of faculties, members of the University Board.

The honorees were as follows:

First: Ain Shams University Appreciation Award

In the field of social sciences

- Prof. Dr. Ramadan Bastawisi Mohamed, Emeritus Professor, Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Girls.

- Prof. Dr. Nagwa Gamal Muhammad Mahrez, Emeritus Professor, Department of Spanish Language, Faculty of Al-Alsun.

- Prof. Dr. Mustafa Muhammad Muhammad Al-Baghdadi, Emeritus Professor, Department of Geography, Faculty of Education.

- Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Hassan Ismail, Emeritus Professor, Department of Mass Communication, Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Childhood.

In the field of basic sciences:

- Prof. Dr. Khaled Fouad Khaled Mahmoud, Professor at Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Education.

- Prof. Dr. Fouad Ibrahim Al-Husseini, Emeritus Professor, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science.

- Prof. Dr. Naziha Muhammad Hassanein, Emeritus Professor, Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science.

In Engineering Sciences Field:

Prof. Dr. Amr Ali Abdel Rahman Ali, Professor in the Department of Structural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.

In Technological Sciences Field

Prof. Dr. Tamer Mohamed Abdel-Fattah Al-Nadi, Professor of Design and Production Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.

The second prize is divided equally between Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel-Ati Mohamed, a professor in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, and Prof. Dr. Emad El-Din Mahmoud Hegazy (may God have mercy on him), a professor in the Department of Electronics and Communications, Faculty of Engineering.

In the Medical Sciences Field

- Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Badawy Ibrahim Singab, Emeritus Professor, Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy.

- Prof. Dr. Mohamed Salah El-Din El-Khouly, Emeritus Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine.

The third prize is shared equally between Prof. Dr. Diaa Marzouk Abdel Hamid, Emeritus Professor, Department of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Dr. Ezzat El-Sayed Mohamed El-Sobky, Emeritus Professor, Department of Medical Genetics, Faculty of Medicine.

In the Agricultural Sciences Field

- Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid Abdel Ghani, Emeritus Professor, Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture

In the Educational Sciences Field

- Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Farag Mousa, Professor in the Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Specific Education.

The Board of Ain Shams University also celebrated Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology at the university and the former Minister of Antiquities, for reaching the legal age. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, thanked and appreciated Prof. Dr. El-Damaty for his efforts and constructive contributions until the Faculty of Archeology Ain Shams University appeared in the desired image and in a short period of time.
