Congratulations to Dr. Hussein Essa and Dr. Muhammad Al-Etrebi for their selection in the Policy Coordination Council of the Central Bank

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, extend their sincere congratulations to Prof. Hussein Essa, the former president of Ain Shams University, and Dr. Mohamed El-Atreby, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banque Misr and a member of the Board of Ain Shams University, to choose their sovereignty within the formation of the Coordination Council, which is concerned with developing a mechanism for coordination between the monetary policy of the Central Bank and the financial policy of the government, and the Council submits an annual report on its work to the President of the Republic .

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi had issued Resolution No. 584 of 2021 regarding the formation and work system of the Coordinating Council stipulated in the Central Bank and Banking System Law issued by Law No. 194 of 2020, where the Council is headed by the Prime Minister, and the membership of the Central Bank Governor, Minister of Planning, and Minister of Finance Deputy Governor of the Central Bank and Deputy Minister of Finance for Financial Policies.

The formation also includes experienced members, namely Dr. Ashraf Al-Arabi, Dr. Muhammad Al-Atribi, and Dr. Hussein Essa.
