Faculty of Girls Celebrates Mother's Day

Faculty of Girls for Arts, Science and Education at Ain Shams University organized a celebration on Mother's Day under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Rukia Shalaby, Dean of the Faculty in cooperation with the National Council for Women. The ceremony was opened in the presence of Prof. Dr. Haiam Al Zahid, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mai Helmy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and a group of faculty members.

The ceremony, attended by more than 2000 students, included many of the musical pieces presented by the faculty's choir, singer Mohamed Abdel Salam and a poetry show by the young poet Marwan Sobhi. In addition, the ideal mothers were honored in the faculty and the mothers of some of the martyrs. Prof. Dr. Rokaya Shalaby thanked the Department of Youth Welfare at the Faculty under the management of Mrs. Ola Mustafa and the Faculty Students Union for their efforts in organizing the ceremony.
