Announcing the competitive scholarships for the academic year 2022/2023 offered to the Arab Republic of Egypt from Hungary (Temps Authority) according to the executive program (Master’s Degree)

The Scholarships Welfare Office at Ain Shams University announces the statement of the Central Administration of Scholarships regarding the announcement of the availability of scholarships for the master's stage presented by the State of Hungary to obtain a master's degree in the following fields (agriculture - engineering - technology - natural sciences).

Conditions for applying for grants:

The candidate must be of Egyptian nationality - faculty assistant members in Egyptian universities or research centers - administrative cadres in government institutions and included in the scholarship plan - students who previously obtained a bachelor’s degree on the same scholarship with the highest bachelor’s degrees - Egyptian citizens who do not work as faculty assistants and Those who do not have an employer in the country.

Scholarship data provided by the Hungarian side:

Studying without fees - providing accommodation in university cities - the right to basic health services.

A monthly allowance (according to the rules in force in Hungary).

The scholarship does not include return travel expenses.

The scholarships shall afford (if not by another party) for master’s students (for faculty members - administrative cadres included in the scholarship plan) the value of the scholarship provided by the Hungarian side according to the executive program as well as round-trip travel tickets in accordance with the scholarships’ financial regulations.

Documents required for a master's scholarship:

A data form in Arabic approved by the employer (indicating the date of appointment) (only faculty assistants listed in the scholarship plan).

A copy of an overview of scientific life “C.V. In English, it is accredited (only faculty assistants who are listed in the scholarship plan).

A nomination letter from the employer indicating not to be nominated for any other scholarship or mission, as well as an indication that survey forms have been sent to the security authorities to approve travel (only faculty assistants listed in the scholarship plan).

An English-language copy of the bachelor's degree and the four-year estimates.

A completed copy of the scholarship application form available electronically from the Hungarian side.

A copy of a passport valid for at least three years.

The candidate’s original certificate of passing 60 TOEFL IBT or 6 IELTS scores, unless the awarding side requests a higher score (not required for those studying abroad).

Priority for nomination is in the following order:

Teaching staff in Egyptian universities or research centers.

Administrative cadres in government institutions and included in the missions’ plan.

Students who have previously obtained a bachelor's degree on the same scholarship with the highest marks in a bachelor's degree.

Egyptian citizens who do not work as faculty assistants and who do not have an employer in the country.

Papers submitted by mail or e-mail will not be considered

The deadline for submitting documents to the Missions Department: Thursday, 20/1/2022.
