The Minister of Higher Education and the President of the University witness the ceremony of greeting the flag in front of the Zafaran Palace

Prof. Dr. Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University witnessed the ceremony of raising the flag in front of the Zafaran Palace in the presence of the Vice-president, the deans of the faculties, the Secretary General, the assistant secretaries and a group of students of the union and military education.

This was followed by an inspection tour of the pavilions of various student activities, including a free book exhibition, an exhibition of plastic arts and another for students' inventions, an exhibition of handicrafts, as well as simulation models.

This is in addition to a number of pavilions introducing the activities of the Students' Union, Youth Welfare, For Egypt Family, as well as the activities and services of the Takaful Fund. The Anti-Addiction Fund also participates in a special pavilion to educate students about the dangers of addiction, in addition to a number of free medical services, including measuring sugar, pressure and weight.
