Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development, opened a seminar "In Love with Egypt" organized by a Central family "For Egypt" in cooperation with the Student Union and the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector in celebration of the 45th anniversary of the glorious October.
During his speech, Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdul Hamid praised the role of the university students' union and the central family "For Egypt" in spreading the political, historical and cultural awareness of the youth of the university through the establishment of such events and hosting honorable models of heroes and makers of victory. He stressed that Egypt has always been a source of giving and heroism over time and age.
Mr. Samir Abdel Nasser expressed his happiness with the activity of the Central family "For Egypt", calling on the university students to join and participate in various activities.
Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen, Director of the Media Center of the University reviewed part of the biography of Major General Staff of the war Nasr Mousa and his military record supervising the 38 years spent in the Egyptian armed forces.
Following the presentation of a documentary film about the march of Major General Nasr Mousa gave a lecture on the role of the air force in achieving victory for Egypt. Pointing out that the pilot fighter Egyptian possesses special abilities and skills distinguish him from others.
He praised the efforts of the state in supporting and sponsoring the air force and all the weapons of the armed forces and the leaders and soldiers who are the best ground troops.
He also sent his message to young people to draw lessons from the experience of the former and to take advantage of them as they serve as fuel to complete the march of the present and future, saying: You are the spirit of October.
He added that the plan of strategic deception developed by the late President Mohammed Anwar Sadat is studying the plans of war so far, as well as the war plan launched by an air strike followed by infantry and artillery and heavy weapons, which lost the enemy balance in only 6 hours, on 6 October.
Then, it was followed by the major battle of the Air Force, which was considered by the Air Force a feast of the October 14 battle, during which the air force pilots defended the victory with the enemy thought that the air force three times its real capacity because each fighter pilot was doing more than two flights and three during the day.
Following the symposium, Major General Staff of war Nasr Mousa was honored in recognition of the heroic role.
