An announcement of qualifying courses for nominating university presidents and deans of faculties

Within the framework of Resolution No. 1396 of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research issued on 4/21/2022 regarding the restructuring of the committees responsible for nominating university presidents and deans of faculties and institutes, organizing their work, procedures and conditions for nomination, and comparison criteria.

The fifth clause of Article Four of the decision mentioned above, stipulates: “The candidate must attend the training course held in one of the entities specified by the Supreme Council of Universities to qualify for the position.”

Whereas, one of the requirements for filling the position of Dean of a Faculty/Institute at the University is to attend those courses that qualify for that position, which will be announced during this year.

The university is preparing courses for nominations for these positions at the university’s Training and Development Center. Therefore, faculty staff wishing to apply for these courses must bring a recent status statement signed and stamped by the university and a copy of their national ID card and submit them to the university’s Training and Development Center for necessary action.
