The Awards Office at Ain Shams University held an important meeting with cultural relations officials in all university faculties to discuss all requirements for awards and to identify all requirements that ensure the university’s continued excellence in this important field.

The meeting was held today, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the headquarters of the Networks and Information Technology Center at the university, through the supervisor of the university’s awards office, Prof. Alaa El-Din Abdel Halim Farag, and under the supervision and in the presence of both Mr. Muhammed Fathi Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Mr. Emad Abdel Qawi, General Director of the General Department of Research, in the presence of Mrs. Manal Amin, Director of the Internal and External Research Department, Yasser Kamal, Director of the University’s Cultural Relations Department, and representatives from the university administration in the field of awards.
The cultural relations officials from all university faculties were keen to attend this important meeting to discuss all topics related to the awards, to work to increase effectiveness and achieve excellence in this field.
The meeting discussed the status of application and follow-up procedures for applicants from faculty members in university faculties for state awards from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, as well as university awards at all levels at Ain Shams University, and the efforts made by the Awards Office to follow up on scholars and pioneers who have won prestigious awards, and the necessity of coordination and distinguished follow-up from all The university faculties facilitated all procedures and follow-up until nomination and effective discussion took place from everyone.
This meeting comes within the framework of Ain Shams University’s keenness to support and enhance the academic and technical competencies of its faculty members, with the aim of enhancing their standing and motivating them to actively participate in local and national competitions and awards.
