The launch of the Industrial Innovation Award
The Innovators Support Fund announced the launch of the Industrial Innovation Award (InnoAward), in a strategic partnership between the Ministries of Higher Education, Industry and Trade, and International Cooperation, and jointly implemented by the Innovators Support Fund (ISF) and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), with the aim of promoting industrial development and encouraging technology and innovation in the industrial sector; In implementation of the national strategy for higher education and scientific research that supports innovation and entrepreneurship, and seeks to link educational institutions with industry in accordance with Egypt’s Vision 2030.

The award is given to Egyptian industrial companies that are distinguished by creativity and innovation in their products or services in the field of industries (chemical, food, engineering, printing and packaging, design and manufacturing of information and communications technology, medicine and biotechnology, handicrafts). The evaluation criteria include the volume of innovative cooperation between the company and universities, institutes, centers and bodies. Egyptian research.
The award targets small, medium, and large companies, and the winning companies are granted financial prizes and logistical support. To help it increase its products or improve its services, which contributes to increasing competitiveness and strengthening the position of Egyptian industry and its exports on the global stage.
Among the advantages that companies applying for the award will receive are (increasing awareness of industrial innovation, intensive training on innovation management, training on international best practices, awareness and qualification to obtain the international accreditation ISO 56000.).
