Under the patronage of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, held equivalency certificate exams in the Arabic language subject for students who did not study this subject in high school, as well as in the French language subject, which was taken by 450 students, as well as religious education.
The Dean of the Faculty confirmed that the Faculty is unique in providing this approved service for performing these exams at the level of Ain Shams University.
These students are affiliated with the faculties of medicine and engineering at the university, as well as the Arab Academy for Science Technology and Maritime Transport, which requires an equivalence certificate in these two subjects (Arabic language and religious education) for the student to graduate, if the student has not obtained it in the high school certificate. The Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University also requires as a condition of the conditions for graduation for students in the two divisions (Arabic and English) to obtain an equivalence certificate in the French language subject.
“Kamel” added that the exams are corrected electronically immediately after the exam to quickly announce the results. She also confirmed that these exams are available to students twice during the year, and this is the first time in the academic year 2023/2024.
