A workshop for the ASU Career Center at Ain Shams University, hosted by the Faculty of Alsun

The Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University hosted the first workshop for the university’s ASU Career Center, under the patronage of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and supervised by Prof. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Reem Al-Kabariti, Executive Director of the University Alumni Association, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of the ASU Career Center, in the presence of Dr. Nahid Rachel, Lecturer of Hebrew literature and field training coordinator at the faculty, as part of preparation for the Employment Week organized by Ain Shams University next November, where, Dr. Ola Sami, the center’s vocational education advisor, gave a lecture, in the presence of a large number of faculty students.

   
   

During her opening speech, Dr. Nahed Rachel, Lecturer of Hebrew literature and training coordinator at the faculty, emphasized that the labor market today is witnessing great development in terms of educational requirements as well as the personal experiences of students, especially graduates of the College of Al-Alsun, and she talked about the extent to which they can fill many diverse jobs in various fields, in this context, Ain Shams University is working with full capacity to prepare a distinguished graduate who meets the needs of the labor market in parallel.

She explained that the university administration organizes the annual employment forum in the presence of the largest possible number of local and international companies to provide the greatest possible job opportunities for graduates and training for students in the labor market, as well as identify the latest requirements of companies and the business sector and providing them to prepare graduates at the required level.

During the workshop, Dr. Ola Sami, the center’s vocational education mentor, explained how to prepare for Employment Week to make the most of the event, and how to write a CV, she confirmed that companies in Egypt are seeking to appoint Ain Shams University students in particular as they are the best graduates at the level of training and study in the labor market. During the workshop, she reviewed many of the main points that must be adhered to before participating in the employment forum and how to prepare for the forum with many skills. In addition to the educational capabilities that students received in their various specializations, the workshop witnessed great interaction from the attendees.
