In cooperation with the electronic portal…the university’s awards office meets in its forty-ninth meeting with the university’s award recipients
Based on Ain Shams University’s continued commitment to achieving distinction and excellence, and in confirmation of its leadership position in granting awards to young researchers and scientists, the University Awards Office is pleased to announce the holding of the forty-ninth meeting in cooperation with the electronic portal, in which distinguished young scholars at the university and recipients of the university’s incentive awards for the year 2022 were received.
The meeting activities were held at the headquarters of the Center for Networks and Information Technology on October 3, 2023, under the supervision of Dr. Islam Hegazy, Executive Director, and Prof. Rasha Ismail, director of the electronic portal, and Prof. Alaa Abdel Halim Farag, General Supervisor of the University’s Awards Office.

The Awards Office hosted Dr. Fatima Jalal Abdullah Shihab El-Din, Assistant Professor of Civil Law, Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University and recipient of the University Incentive Award in the field of social and human sciences for the year 2022.
The Awards Office also hosted Dr. Mohamed Ramadan Mohamed, a lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science and recipient of the Ain Shams University Encouragement Award for the year 2022 - in advanced technological sciences in basic sciences.
It is worth noting that Dr. Fatima has many scientific papers published in the field of specialization and has many books written in the English language. She holds the position of Director of the Scientific Publishing Committee at the Faculty, Membership in the Legislative Studies Committee, Membership in the Faculty Ethics Committee. Her Excellency also obtained a grant from the United States of America to exchange experiences. Among lecturers and professors at Boston and Harvard Law Schools on legal research methodologies and experiential learning methods such as moot courts and legal clinics, she also trained the Ain Shams team (the winning team) to participate in the Moot Court Competition of the American Bar Association (ABA): Drafting Legal Memorandums. She has many activities. Training in the field of specialization.
While Dr. Mohamed Ramadan distinguished himself by publishing approximately 25 scientific research papers in prestigious international specialized journals classified as Q1 in the field of building materials technology and nanotechnology. He also participated in 8 international and local research projects funded by various Egyptian bodies in addition to funding from Ain Shams University for his Excellency in... One of the projects in 2022.
Dr. Muhammad also contributed to supervising many master’s and doctoral theses, in light of the state’s vision of sustainable development, green urbanization, and resistance to climate change. His Excellency’s research and projects revolve around the idea of finding a solution to the problems of the cement industry and inventing new, alternative, environmentally friendly building materials through Safe recycling of some hazardous industrial waste or use of cheap nanomaterials.
His Excellency attributed this scientific activity to work in various research groups from the Faculty of Engineering, the National Research Center, the Atomic Energy Authority, and various specializations from the Faculty of Science, such as the Department of Chemistry, Physics, Geology, and others.
Emphasizing the pioneering role that Ain Shams University plays in supporting and encouraging young researchers, both of them emphasized the great importance of the university in enabling young researchers to complete their scientific research, and encouraging them to publish them at the international level, as well as their support for applied projects and other initiatives offered by the university in... Researchers service. They expressed their great thanks to the university administration for providing full support and facilities in all scientific and administrative fields.
Within the framework of this supportive vision, each of them presented a message to young researchers, urging them to do distinguished work in the field of scientific research, and stressing the importance of patience and perseverance in their pursuit of success. They also called on them to strive to publish their research in a distinguished manner in international journals, to actively participate in scientific seminars, and to communicate effectively with specialized professors to benefit from their valuable experience.
