Prof. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, and Prof. Yassin El-Shazly, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, received Prof. Vanessa Siria Potter, Vice President of the University of Essex and Director of the University’s International Cooperation Sector, for the purpose of discussing ways of cooperation with the Faculty regarding the English Department.
The two parties agreed on the possibility of concluding a cooperation protocol between them during the next week that would allow the exchange of students, researchers, and professors and the participation in teaching some courses, leading to the establishment of a joint program similar to what is done with the University of Lyon (3) in France for the French Department.
It should be noted that the University of Essex is a prestigious public university in the United Kingdom, and is ranked among the best forty universities in the Kingdom and ranked third in terms of research. The university’s Faculty of Law offers three programs: the bachelor’s program, the master’s program, and the doctoral program.
