Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development and Acting President of the University, participated in a delegation of vice presidents of universities in the Greater Cairo region, which includes universities (Ain Shams, Cairo, Al-Azhar, Banha), which was held in Helwan University.
In this regard, Prof. Walid Al-Srouji, Vice President of Helwan University for Community Service and Environmental Development, received the Vice-Presidents of the Greater Cairo Region Universities, Prof. Ghada Farouk Hassan, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development and Acting President of the University, Prof. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq, Vice President of Cairo University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Mahmoud Seddik, Vice President of Al-Azhar University for Postgraduate Studies and Research and supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, and Prof. El Sayed Abdel Hamid Fouda, Vice President for Benha University for Affairs Community service and environmental development.
The first meeting was held to discuss aspects of cooperation and the concept of integration between these educational institutions, geographical regions, economic activities in this one region, and participation in future projects within the framework of the National Strategic Plan for Higher Education and Scientific Research 2030, which aims to achieve a comprehensive vision for Egypt in the various fields of development, which depends mainly on the studies of the comprehensive plan for development in the Egyptian country and its relationship to the goals of sustainable development, as well as setting up a mechanism and joint training plans to serve the community. This meeting is considered the first nucleus to achieve cooperation between these universities and activate what was discussed, and other meetings will take place in the presence of other universities in the Greater Cairo region.
