Today... the ceremony of awarding the first Medal of Honor to Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Students from the Supreme Committee of the Uruk International Award

Today morning, Thursday, corresponding to August 3, the ceremony of awarding the first Medal of Honor to the Uruk International Prize for the World Surgeon, Prof. Abdel Fattah Mohamed Fathi Saoud, Professor of Medicine and Orthopedics at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University and Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, will be held at Talaat Harb Theater at the headquarters of Ain Shams University. Faculty of Specific Education at the university.

In this context, Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, received, yesterday, the Secretary-General of the Uruk International Prize, Dr. Thamer Al-Nasseri, in a friendly meeting at the Zafaran Palace.

The visit included a tour inside the Zafaran Museum at the university, where he listened to a detailed explanation from Prof. Walaa El-Din Badawi, director of the Zafaran Museum, on the museum’s holdings. In addition, Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud presented the shield of Ain Shams University to His Excellency Dr. Thamer Al-Nasery and gifted him the book Zafaran Palace.

The Supreme Committee of the Uruk International Award affiliated to the Uruk Cultural Foundation had awarded the first Medal of Honor to Professor Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud with the unanimous consent of the members, and the blessing of His Excellency Professor Dr. Naseer Shamma, Ambassador of Art for Peace at UNESCO (General Supervisor of the Uruk International Prize), and the endorsement of the Committee’s advisor, Professor Dr. Dalia Hussein Fahmy in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Dr. Thamer Al-Nasseri, CEO and Secretary-General of the Uruk International Prize, indicated that the awarding of the first Medal of Honor to Professor Abdel-Fattah Saoud unanimously came in view of the discreet scientific efforts of his excellency and his honesty and sincerity in professional work and what he presented. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud is a distinguished scientific and knowledge donation and the enrichment he provided to the brotherly Egyptian society.

For his part, Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud expressed his appreciation to the Uruk Cultural Foundation and the members of the Supreme Committee, stressing his pride in this honor, and that it is a distinguished addition to his credit and scientific career.

It is noteworthy that the Uruk Prize is an international award granted to influential personalities at the international level, in various scientific, artistic, humanitarian, educational and sports disciplines, which it is hoped will be presented during its annual ceremony at the government level to name it (a state award).

It is worth noting that the Higher Committee of the Award has awarded a group of Excellences, during the past two years, the Medal of Honor for the award, which is the first of its kind at the international level because it includes all disciplines.
