Signing a joint cooperation protocol between the Al Hilal and Golden Star Group of Companies and the Central Laboratory of the Faculty of Science

yesterday, Prof. Muhammad Rajaa Al-Satohi, Dean of the Faculty of Science, at Ain Shams University, and Mr.  Walid Hilal – Chairman of Al-Hilal and Golden Star Group, signed a joint cooperation protocol between the Central Laboratory of the Faculty of Science and Al-Hilal and Golden Star Group of Companies. The signing was witnessed by Prof.  Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof.  Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the current acting president of the university, Prof. Amani Suleiman, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Abdel-Rahman Badr El-Din – Director of the Central Laboratory at the Faculty of Science and Mr.  Tariq Jaafar – CEO of Al-Hilal and Golden Star Group and Mr.  Amr Shaaban, Contracting Officer at the Central Laboratory.
The protocol comes with the aim of developing the plastics industry and preparing training courses in the field of microbiology and the use of antibacterials in the company’s products to prevent the transmission of infection. This is within the framework of close cooperation between Ain Shams University as an academic institution and the industry represented by Al-Hilal and Golden Star Company, within the framework of the role of Ain Shams University in supporting the knowledge economy.
