Within the framework of modernizing and developing the digital infrastructure of Ain Shams University and its faculties and departments, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, the Networks and Information Technology Center announced that updates will be made to some servers in the Center Data, which may affect some important applications in the university.
The Executive Director of the Center for Networking and Information Technology, Dr. Islam Hijazi, explained that the applications of the electronic university management system (UMS) may be affected during the process of updating the servers, which will take place during the period from Wednesday, August 2 at 9 am and ends Thursday, August 3 at 9 am.
The Network Center called on the deans of the university faculties to take appropriate measures to stop any use of the UMS system during the mentioned period, so that the servers are updated and resume work at full capacity.
The center confirmed that it will inform the faculties of the latest updates as soon as they are completed.
