The President of Ain Shams University inaugurates the auditorium of Prof. Mahdi Allam, Faculty of Arts, after its renovation

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, opened the auditorium of Prof. Mahdi Allam, Faculty of Arts, after its renovation, accompanied by Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts.

In the presence of the Vice Deans: Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Shereen Mazloum, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, a group of faculty staff and heads of departments, and the engineer who designed the runway, Prof. Shafak Al-Wakeel, Professor of Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Yasser Megahid, Director of the Engineering Consultation Center at the Faculty of Engineering.

In his speech, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, emphasized that development is an inevitable duty for any conscious administration in light of the rapid changes the world is witnessing, and that all developments and renovations that took place in the faculties are in the service of students. In light of a harmonious work team, he also thanked Prof. Hesham Tamraz, the former Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and praised the leaders of the Faculty of Arts and that they are always distinguished and that each of them has an imprint and thought in the faculty.

For his part, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, said that in light of the university's interest in student activities because of its role in developing the students' personality, the auditorium will be provided with a large screen to be used as a theater in addition to being an auditorium for study, to become the sixth theater equipped at Ain Shams University.

In her speech, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, with the unlimited giving of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, and his fingerprints attesting to his achievements in all parts of the university, which are characterized by sophistication, appreciating his financial, logistical and technical support for the Faculty in order to raise its international academic classification.

She pointed out that the opening of the auditorium comes within the development plan that the university is witnessing, after three years of closure, explaining that the auditorium can accommodate 1,000 students and is equipped with the latest audiovisual and sound equipment, air conditioners and projectors.

Dr. Hanan Kamel honored Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, in appreciation and gratitude for his outstanding achievements. Her Excellency also honored the deputies for their sincere and continuous efforts.
